J-Ring apparatus

It is used to determine the flow capacity and flow time of self-compacting concrete.
The equipment consists of a sheet metal Abrams cone, a 900×900 mm plate with two engraved circumferences of diameters 210 and 500 mm and a J-ring with 12 or 16 Ø18 mm bars spaced 41 or 59 mm apart, which simulates the high density of the reinforced bars during the test.
