To evaluate the segregation resistance of D634 self-compacting freshly mixed concrete using the flowing speed through a funnel. It is not suitable for aggregates with particle sizes exceeding 20 mm.
The apparatus consists of a stainless steel V-shaped funnel fitted with a watertight sliding gate and supported by a frame to ensure that the top funnel is kept horizontal.
