
This device requires a data acquisition system to measure the change in sample volume, emitting an electrical signal directly proportional to the volume of water flowing through the unit.
The apparatus consists of a piston connected to a 25 mm travel displacement transducer and sealed to a precision-machined calibration chamber so that the linear movement of the piston is exactly proportional to the volume of water present in the calibration chamber.
The device includes a front control panel with a reversible valve system to measure water flow in both directions.
It is supplied with a 25mm displacement transducer, coupling clips and mounting device.
It does not require a digital data acquisition unit if used in conjunction with automated Soilmatic systems.
