Concrete workability measure

Reference: HR215
Standards: NF P18-452

This test method has special applications for concretes containing powdered chemical additives and is used to verify the homogeneity of the concrete in relation to its workability or plasticity.

It consists of a prismatic container divided into two parts of different volumes by a separator and an electric vibrator.

Fresh concrete is poured into the larger volume space, the separator is removed, and the vibrator automatically starts working.

The test consists of measuring the time required for the concrete to reach a uniform distribution in the two containers.
