In the Rockwell test, hardness is determined by comparison, measuring the depth of two carefully controlled indentations, one superimposed on the other.
Analog model but with touch screen, where you can configure the parameters and view the results, USB data output and built-in room temperature thermometer.
This durometer can apply loads:
-Rockwell 60-100-150 Kg
-Brinell 31.25-62.5-187.5 Kg
A small load (the weakest) is applied using a steel ball or a spherical-conical diamond indenter. Then, while the weakest load is still being applied, a stronger load (the strongest) is applied with precisely controlled values. The stronger load is then
removed, and the resulting hardness is displayed. The hardness value is determined by the additional depth to which the stronger load has indented the sample, beyond the initial indentation applied by the weakest load.
The loading application is motorized. Loads are easily selected using a rotary dial, and the application speed is motor-controlled. Results are displayed via a touchscreen.
