The equipment requires the following parameters to be entered beforehand:

-Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit (ASTM D4318)
-Particle Size Analysis (ASTM D422)
-Proctor Test (ASTM D698 and D1557)

The operating system provides fast, accurate, and repeatable readings in real time. The backlit color touchscreen offers excellent visibility, making test setup easy for the operator.

Different units to select for density (kg/m3, lb/ft3) and temperature (°C, °F). A USB port allows for easy downloading of measurements.

Stores up to 20 different materials including:

-Optimum Moisture Content

The measuring area (Ø279 mm) allows for optimal measurement on fine and coarse materials, and its depth of 300 mm has been designed to allow testing on a standard soil layer before, during or after compaction.

It has a GPS function, which, when activated, displays latitude and longitude, the number of connected satellites, and the date and time in UTC. GPS data is saved with each measurement when both Data Save and GPS are enabled.

Since the equipment does not use nuclear measuring sources, it does not require special licenses, transport, or storage.

The equipment is supplied with interchangeable batteries, a battery charger, and a carrying case.
