Penetration is expressed as the distance, in tenths of millimeters, penetrated vertically with a standard needle. It features a digital readout of penetration values ​​in mm and inches, with a resolution of 0.01 mm, a 5-digit LCD display, and zero adjustment at any position.

Equipped with a magnetic control device with programmable digital electronic timer, which automatically releases the plunger head and ensures free fall.
