The machine, designed with a 4-column load-bearing frame, ensures high rigidity and stability. The double-acting piston is ground and polished and features a hydraulic safety system with upper and lower limit switches to prevent accidental damage. A selector lever allows manual selection of the tensile or compression test.
The wedge anchoring jaws are made of tungsten steel with a hardness greater than 65 HRC, and the self-locking “V” geometry allows for quick and practical fixation of the test specimen.
This machine performs tensile tests on reinforced steel bars with diameters from 6 to 25 mm and flat bars measuring 25×15 mm. These sample sizes are suitable only for traditional reinforcing bars with a maximum tensile strength of approximately 540 MPa. For tests on high-strength reinforcing bars with a maximum tensile strength of 850 MPa, the machine allows samples with a maximum diameter of 20 mm, and the maximum size of the flat bars is 25×12 mm.
Compression tests can also be performed on cubic concrete specimens up to 150 mm on each side and cylinders up to Ø160×320 mm.
The machine is supplied with a pair of wedge holder jaws, but without accessories, which must be ordered separately.
